读万卷书,行万里路

“Traveling thousands of miles is better than reading thousands of books.”

It means you can learn more from traveling to places as opposed to reading about them in books. It is very true that you can learn more by actually experiencing things by yourself.

But sad to say that becos of the pandemic, many who can join a company to travel to see the world, were grounded as the world shuts down then. But this doesn’t mean you stop learning.

In fact, you should pick up a book and read thru the eyes of the authors where they share their experiences in writing. Contact them (linkedin or email), ask them questions, find out from them what inspired them etc to write books.

As the world opens up, plan some meaningful trips (local or overseas) and see how others survive this pandemic, what ways they used to work around it, what did they do after closing down their businesses, and what’s next for them?

Others are living it, you are learning it. You will come out a better person to whatever life will throw at you from now
