Spell it clearly
- Never join a startup without knowing what is the direction, how the management team going to execute it, how are the investors be supporting it.
- Never join a startup without knowing what is being offered to you in black & white of the salaries, bonus, commission, shares, or ESOP if any.
- Never join a startup simply becos the CEO or Poster Girl of the Company is everywhere giving talks and respected by many. Not all of them can execute and many are just good speakers.
At the same time, measure what you can offer as an individual and not just be another self-entitled personnel that wants everything but gives nothing. Many startups are made up of people of your type too which are good in wanting but poor in executing.
