Sleepless

The saying is that if you start a business only for the sake of making money, you will face many challenges and difficulties. You may not enjoy what you do, or you may not be able to satisfy your customers.

On the other hand, if you start a business based on your passion and your desire to do good for the world, you will have more motivation and enthusiasm.

You will also be more likely to attract loyal customers who share your vision and values. As a result, money will come to you more easily and sooner.

Running our own business can be rewarding, but also challenging. You need to have a clear idea of what your business is about, who your target market is, and how you will differentiate yourself from your competitors.

You also need to plan your finances, legal requirements, marketing strategy, and business management. That is a lot of work!

We may never know when that time will be, nor how much more to be done before you cross that river to the other side, and that is where the self-doubts creep in, the concerns about making bills roll in too.

The truth is, we just don't know how far are we to the shore before we drown, despite we keep assuring ourselves that we are doing it right and that the path taken is correct. There is just no one answer that tells you, yes you are there and your passion will get you there. It may not at all.

So what do you do?

We try to get smarter by doing more, looking at things differently, and reacting to them differently to get things done more efficiently and effectively.

We self-learn faster, identify mistakes better, and walk away from bad executions to restart better too. Just keep doing it and be willing to unlearn and relearn, while learning all the new stuff, filtering what works now and later.

Passion drives the entrepreneurs, cash can be the reward along the journey too. Both can co-exist.

Going sleepless is not a handicap, is part of the process of getting worried about what is going on because we are responsible for our actions and what is to happen the next day.
