Hardwork

More than often, we can be caught being busy doing stuff but going nowhere.

Why is this so? Especially for those who believes that by going though the routine, going to work on time, interact with colleagues, submit proposals, attend meetings, going through the flow and everything should be there for you to the picking.

Unfortunately, being hardworking without knowing what you are trying to achieve or where the end goals are.. may just be working.

More than often, after sending my kids to school, I will drop by the gym in the shopping mall and there’s this guy who is at the gym all the time.

The one who checks in every single day and spends many hours there. But yet he is completely out of shape. He knows everyone, talks to everyone.

He walks the treadmill at a slow pace while scrolling the Facebook, watching YouTube videos. He achieves nothing and the same shape as he first came.

Compare him with the guy who checks in for an hour, five days a week, but gives his everything. He is in shape, healthy and fit.

Hard work is useless when it is spent doing the wrong things.

If you are running your own business, don’t let any other days be another any other days. Plan it properly and execute and maximize the number of hours allocated for different tasks. Stay focus, stay on target and work hard for it to get the results that you want.
