Whenever I am traveling alone, I will always carry a book with me as I considered that as one of the best activities to have to gain knowledge and experience.

I prefer self improvement and business titles to keep myself challenged, so that I can test what I learnt with new people and environment.

You get real data, real exposure and experiences that otherwise may not be able to do so when traveling as a group.

I like to start off with the last chapter of the book, simply because unlike storybooks, there is no character to follow, to grow fond of and to empathize with. You are the character of such business books instead. So reading off the summary helps me to have a broad perspective of what it is all about.

Afterwhich, then I will dive into the chapters that I be most curious about and finish the rest of them over time.

Try it. It may just work for you as business titles don’t need to follow in sequence but instead are small lessons for us to learn and execute.
