Awareness
Five helpful questions to gauge awareness among your target audience:
1. Industry recognition
Have you been featured in industry publications, attended relevant conferences, or won awards?
No one remembers the 2nd winner or even the 7th person in a race. If you are recognized for your contribution and effort, capitalize on it!
2. Brand mentions
How often is your brand mentioned online, in social media conversations, or in forums related to your field?
If it has yet to happen, make it happen! Do not expect others to discover you just by sitting in the corner waiting for things to happen. You have to make it happen by putting yourself out there to talk about it, with photos and interviews.
3. Targeted outreach
Do potential clients or investors mention familiarity with your brand when you make contact?
If they do not know who you are, they will not want to know more about what you do. Read again.
4. Website Traffic
Are website visits increasing, and are visitors coming from relevant sources like referrals or organic searches?
Not everyone will get to see you face to face so the next best thing will be virtually via websites, posts, comments, interviews, panel discussions and to drive them to the site where others can find out more about you.
5. Lead generation
Are you generating leads from qualified prospects who align with your ideal customer profile?
If you are not able to generate it yourself, hire someone or a reputable company that can assist you with that. Not everyone is born a sales man and not everyone can sell. So invest properly in someone who makes a living out of helping others like you.
By honestly assessing these questions, you can gain valuable insights into your brand awareness and identify areas for improvement.
