52 Advice For Startup Founders

2024 has been a crazy year for me!

I was admitted to the hospital for 3 weeks and later diagnosed with a heart problem. Following that I had my 2nd heart operation in August 2024 and if I am to look back, almost 9 months have been haunted by this episode.

Now that I am better, I have been putting a lot more effort into putting my thoughts into words, by writing articles, books and posts, which I hope that one day, these will be useful for my 2 kids in their adult journey when they grow up to face the challenging business world.

The world of tomorrow will just get more complicated as politics, technologies, human nature, climate, intelligence and many variables will converge more making it more complex for anyone, anywhere, anytime.

My passion has always been entrepreneurship ever since I started my own business in early 2005 and went on to sell and started and invested in other startups too. There are many lessons to learn, and it can be confusing and vexing for many who just started this journey, especially where it is always you against the world, time and resources.

I decided that perhaps I can just pen it down what are the 52 things that anyone onto this journey can prepare themselves before they begin or as a guide for those in the midst of it too.

In the coming 52 weeks, I will just start sharing what I learnt, experienced and seen since the beginning of my startup journey in 2005.
